Davies Family

For our anniversary I made reservations at The Roof. When we were dating Scott kept telling me that he would take me there, but every time we talked about it we weren't dressed up enough to go there. So, I thought it would be nice to try it for our anniversary. That morning I got our clothes and shoes all ready and set out to be taken to the car. Scott took them all out for me. When I got out to the car he had put them in his car (which we usually drive to work) I told him that we should take my car since it was going to be a nice night out. So, he moved everything over..........well, after work we went shopping for a bit to pick out his anniversary gift. We got done with that just in time to get changed and make it to our reservations......on the way to his office to change Scott suddenly realized that he had moved the clothes over, but had forgotten to grab our shoes.........with no time to do anything else about it, we had to change into our nicer clothes and just wear the shoes that we had on!! We got plenty of 'strange' looks every time we stood up to get more food, and I am sure that the hostess even considered telling us we couldn't come in :) But, if nothing else it will be a funny memory that we will always have of our 1st anniversary.......No matter what kind of looks we get, I know that I am the luckiest woman on earth to be married to Scott!!!

I think Kyler is really tired of shopping for plants!! We worked on the yard again this last weekend, and these pictures are of Kyler at the nursery. I am not sure if he was just really worn out, or if he was dreaming of a time he will be able to lay under a tree and have shade :)

We finally have some flowers in our yard. We spent last weekend getting 2 of our MANY flowerbeds ready for plants and planting them. It is so much fun to go out in the morning heading to work and see how they have bloomed overnight, and the changes that have happened. Now we are about 1/8 of the way done......I guess it is a start.

Kyler finally decided this weekend he was going to learn to ride his bike. I have been trying for 3 years (ever since he got this bike for Christmas) to get him to try, but he refused. But, this weekend he decided he was going to do it. I held the bike the first two times that he tried and from there on out he had it on his own. He was pretty proud of himself. Now, I guess I am going to have to buy him a new bike, one that is actually big enough for him. Does anyone need a bike? This one has about 20 minutes of use :)

After the last couple days of weather....that have been in the high 80's and absolutely beautiful!
Today, it is pouring rain and cold!!
Of all the days, I am off to the zoo with Kyler's 1st grade class.
I am sure it is going to be SOOOO much fun!!

I have a bunch of rockers in my house!
All of the boys seem to think they are going to be rock stars!
Colby can play on expert, and it just amazes me to watch him. Cameron has worked his way up to medium, but I think they all kind of prefer Rock Band over Guitar Hero.
Kyler absolutely loves to play and dance around....we got video of him, and every time we watch it we just laugh.
