Last Saturday Kyler and his cousin Landon joined a group of Rec soccer players and played in the Kohl's Cup tournament in Hyrum. The team was put together by Allan Haycock (Coach of the Premier Utah Soccer Team). We were pretty excited for Kyler to get the opportunity to work with Allen and get some great coaching help.
The boys were guaranteed three games, and if they won enough games they would play for the Championship. They won first place in their division and played in the Championship game later in the evening. The game ended in a loss of 5 to 4. It was such a close game. The boys were awesome considering that the team had only played together for a couple of practices before the tournament. They did a great job of taking boys that had not played together and playing like a team.
Thanks Stacey and Landon for letting us have the opportunity for such a fun day!

Landon

Kyler played really aggresive....I was proud of him!

They got trophies for 2nd place!

Easter Part 1

Okay....I was going to post all about Easter, but I remembered that I left my camera at Scott's parents house. So, this will have to be part 1 of a 2 part post.

Saturday morning we (Cameron and I) took Kyler to the Syracuse hunt at the park. Kyler had a great time and we were out of there in about 12 minutes!!

Ky was pretty proud of his big find.....the Easter Egg coloring kit.

After the Syracuse hunt, we went to the gym where they had an Easter Egg Dive.

Kyler waiting patiently for the dive to start.

The kids had to get one egg at a time and take them back to the basket before they could get another one.

Cameron looking over excited to get things going :)

Getting ready to dive in! Cameron's age was in the deep side of the pool. They actually had to "dive" for their eggs, and again one at a time.

I am not sure about this one.....maybe he was praying he found some good ones ;)

It was alot of fun to take the boys to the gym, after the "dive" they stayed and swam for a while and I got to work out!!

Family get-togethers with have to be another post.......reminder for Ace to send me pics!! :)

Birthday Boy!

A little bit about Cameron:

Cameron was my crazy hair kid! He had his first haircut at 6 months old, and I waited 3 months to long!! :) I just had such a hard time cutting off the curls.

Cameron LOVES his grandpa. From the time he was little he would ask to go to grandpa's house, and when he got a little older he looked forward to ANY time that grandpa would take him fishing!

Cameron has always had a soft spot for Kyler. He was really hesitant when we first had him, because he had told me that if he was a boy "we could just sell him." But, from the moment we first got Cam to hold Ky there was a bond that can't be explained. On the weekends, Cameron would sneak into my room and get Kyler out of his bed so he didn't wake me. I would wake up (scared to death) and find them both downstairs, Kyler changed and fed and happy as a lark, and Cameron just loving him.

Cameron has always been our jokester. He loves a good joke, and LOVES to tease!!

He has always been the "outside" kid. He isn't one for watching TV or playing video games. He would much rather be outside playing with friends, shooting hoops, or hunting.

But, he can clean up pretty good too :)

We LOVE you Cam....Happy 14th Birthday!!

Landon came to stay with us while Brent, Stacey, and Tanner went to St. George for soccer tournaments. It was so much fun to see how he and Kyler were inseparable....Everytime I saw them they were side by side right next to each other.

Thanks for hanging with us Landon, we had a GREAT time!!

Colby had his first experience with Microderm Abrasion on Saturday. Before he went, I told him he had to shave :) I wasn't going to pay the money for it if they could only do it on 1/4 of his face! So........what do you all think, does he look better before or after??

Before

After
PS.....he loved it! He said it was worth shaving for, and he couldn't wait to go again!

Last weekend I took 3 of my boys to the car show (Cameron had YHEC so he didn't come down). Talk about testosterone heaven!! I think all 3 of them could have stayed ALL day.

I just thought this one was pretty cool.

These were Colby's favorites. I tried to get him to let me take a picture of him sitting in some of the cars but he wouldn't let me. I think he didn't want to sit in them because he would want to take one home!

This one was Kyler's favorite. It is Iron Man's car.

Picture Fun

When we were at Chuck E. Cheese for Kyler's birthday, I was able to get all the boys to take pictures with me. They have a fun little camera station that takes your picture then draws is like a pencil drawing.
