Finally!! Kyler's first day of school.
He has been waiting, and waiting, and waiting.....
Due to the school not being finished they postponed the first day 2 weeks. Kyler has been anxiously awaiting the first day. They still don't have a lunch room, gym, library, or a field to play on. But, they opened anyway. I guess the classrooms are all that really matter anyway :)
So, this morning he was patiently (or maybe not so patiently) waiting to leave:
He kept asking me....is it time to go?.......is it time to go?.....Can I walk?.......Can I go see if Jaden can walk with me?......and my answer to each one "NO"
Finally it was time to leave and I wanted him to take one more picture outside......"Do I HAVE to?" So, he would only take it one place and the sun was in his eyes....when I tried to get him to move so that the sun wasn't in his eyes he said "just take a picture" kids, kids, kids...it is a good thing he is so cute!
So...on the way to school, he very politely told me "I don't need you to walk me into school mom"....of course, I hurtfully asked "Why not?" "Cause I'm a big kid now" is the answer I got. What am I going to do now? I no longer have "little kids" at home!!!
So, we got to school, he got out of the car (not even a kiss for mom) and headed into school.
I guess at least he turned around and waved......Oh, wait....that is only cause I yelled his name and then waved at him :)
Alas, my baby is growing up......oh how I miss the days:

Kyler was just so excited so he could go back to chasing the girls!!! Oh and Yes I still do think that Lena looks like you so of course that is why she is so cute and that would explain her attitude as well:) HA HA HA- Stacey Crandall said...
